We use cookies and similar technologies on our website to help it run and to understand how visitors use it.

Cookie banner
When you first visit our site, a cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set. You can accept or reject these cookies, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in our website footer.

Cookies we use

CookieProviderPurposeType

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Provider: Google
Purpose: Measures site usage, such as pages visited and time on site
Type: Non-essential, requires consent

Site analytics
Provider: Framer
Purpose: Measures visitor counts and page views
Type: Cookieless, does not require consent

Our website is built on Framer, whose own analytics do not use cookies or store persistent identifiers on your device. GA4 does use cookies, so this only runs after you give consent through our cookie banner.

GA4 cookies are retained according to Google's default cookie expiry settings, unless you clear them sooner through your browser.

Managing cookies
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using our cookie settings link, or by adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Third-party access
Where you consent to analytics cookies, data may be shared with Google as described in section 5 (Who we share your data with) and section 6 (International data transfers).

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

We do share data with the service providers who help us run the site and our business, acting as data processors on our behalf:

  • Google (Google Analytics 4), for website analytics

  • Framer, as our website host and provider of site analytics

  • Brevo, as our email marketing provider

These providers are only permitted to use your data to deliver the service to us, not for their own purposes.

6. International data transfers

Some of our service providers, including Google, may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the provider's participation in an approved data transfer framework.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries: kept for 24 months or as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up

  • Newsletter subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe

  • Analytics data: retained according to GA4's default retention settings

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you

  • have inaccurate data corrected

  • have your data deleted, in certain circumstances

  • restrict or object to our processing of your data

  • request a copy of your data in a portable format

  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@antimatter.studio. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the personal data we hold, including access controls and secure storage of client and enquiry data.

10. Children

Our website and services are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Please check back periodically.
